Dance Floor Tape (or Marley Tape) is a vinyl tape used to tape the seams in dance floors together. This vinyl tape most closely represents the texture and feel of the dance floor itself and therefore makes a much easier transition for the dancers when they are moving from dance floor to taped seam. Dance Floor Tape can leave behind some residue when left applied for long periods of time and will become increasingly "goopy" or sticky when exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods of time. The residue left from Dance Floor Tape can be removed with a dance floor cleaner that is specially formulated.
